True Story – Unique things I loved about my wedding…

So, this time last year I was gearing up and counting down to my wedding day. Guess what I was not counting? You got it, RSVPs!

It’s hard to believe that almost a year has gone by. Colin and I were our own first customers. We used my site for our engagement party, our rehearsal dinner, and our wedding. We planned an out of town wedding and you KNOW how hard that can be! What a relief it was to have everything self calculating in our sleep.

There are many unique things I loved about my wedding that I’d like to share with you:
#1 My husband of course
#The Love Boat was a rockin’ location for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding!
#Our family and friends stayed the week with us in Hatteras, NC before the wedding!
#My girlfriends did my flowers and decorated my cake!
#Colin threw the garter on a football to all of the single guys.
#The Groom’s cake was a fire truck!
#We did the anniversary dance and my grandparents won at 54 years! (The winner gives advice to the newlyweds 😉 )
#We did our first dance to Jack Johnson and then broke out into Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”
#The guys bought custom linen suits from and changed into Just Married and Wedding Security T-shirts after the ceremony!
#A storm knocked our bamboo alter down on Friday night and our family and friends came together to put it back up Saturday morning!
#We jumped in the pool at the end of the night!
I told Colin I’d like to get married to him again every year. He said we could do it again at 10. I’m counting down the next 9…. 😉
